Last week, the European Resuscitation Council has published its guidelines on resuscitation and first aid. The launch of the guidelines was accompanied by a virtual congress were the guidelines were presented. The guidelines are informed by the 2020 CoSTR published by ILCOR.
We are proud to have contributed to these guidelines as our director, Emmy De Buck, and coordinator, Vere Borra, were part of the First Aid writing group, and Vere is also a member of the ILCOR First Aid Task Force. During the Virtual Guidelines Congress, Vere Borra presented one of the first aid topics Storage of an Avulsed tooth.
