With their 2020 evidence-based International First Aid, Resuscitation, and Education guidelines, the Global First Aid Reference Centre (GFARC) foster harmonisation of first aid practices across the International Federation of Red Cross Red Crescent Societies, with the support of the European Resuscitation Council (ERC).

On 16 and 17 June, the ERC is hosting its first-ever hybrid congress in Antwerp, Belgium. Resuscitation 2022 will focus on how the 2021 ERC guidelines are put into practice. On Friday 17 June, GFARC is hosting a live webinar on "Remote and hazardous: first aid adaptation in challenging places".

During this webinar, our Director Emmy De Buck and junior CEBaP researcher Irvin Kendall will talk about the use of adapted teaching materials to provide first aid education in Sub-Saharan Africa.
