The second Saturday in September marks World First Aid Day. Our collaborating centre, the Global First Aid Reference Centre (GFARC) of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, is in charge to coordinate this event and provide resources to national Red Cross Societies.

The theme of this year's awareness day, on September 11, is: "Be a hero at school and in your community"!
